Birth Choice

Birth Choice has two free centers, in Jackson and Trenton, Tennessee, and a mobile clinic that visits eight nearby towns each week. Pregnancy testing, ultrasound and facts on your options are free. Abortion is banned in Tennessee. An ultrasound with us can show how far along you are and if the pregnancy is in the uterus.

Is the pregnancy test really free?
Yes. The test and the ultrasound are free. We don't bill insurance, there's no co-pay, and no bill comes later.
Do I need an appointment?
Call (731) 664-8443 for Jackson or the mobile clinic, or (731) 855-2900 for Trenton. Someone will set up a time. Jackson is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 4 PM, Friday 9 AM to 1 PM. Trenton (Gibson County) is open Monday 9 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday 9 AM to 7:30 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM.
How soon can I have an ultrasound?
After a missed period and a positive pregnancy test. Any earlier, and the scan often can't show what it needs to.
Does Birth Choice perform or refer for abortions?
No. We offer a free test, a free ultrasound and the facts on all of your options.
Who does the ultrasound?
Once you have a positive pregnancy test result, one of our nurses will evaluate your case and determine your eligibility for an ultrasound.
Who will I see?
To ensure your comfort and well-being, we have female nurses and medical personnel available that understand your situation.
Is what I tell you confidential?
Our services will always remain free-of-charge and confidential, and we are here for you throughout your pregnancy, whichever option you choose.
